September 8, 2018 - Excellent super tuscan blend that is an amazing value. Balanced tannins expressive fruit with a complex nose. Priced like a everyday wine but has enough going on to allow a sit, swirl and sip session that stretches out a few hours. I love finding wines of this quality at this price point.

That's a different way of putting it and I can totally relate to that! Stellar qpr...

    35 $ is also a really good deal - I paid 38 €, i.e. +-44 $.

Still, 35 $ in my book does not qualify as a "everyday wine" and I think it's the wrong way of getting the message across.

    But I understand your point.

    Best regards,

I don't mean to come across snobby...I've drunk my share of $7 and $9 bottles but I've reached a point in my life and travels that I can afford a better bottle and I enjoy it. The problem is the proliferation of wine being made today has driven up the cost of grapes so high that good grapes at reasonable prices are now non-existent. The great recession was fantastic from a wine drinker's perspective because all the high priced grape contracts fell through to the lower rungs on the ladder and guys were making $15-20 cabs with $150 cab grapes! There were many great deals to be had and cheaper wines never tasted any better, but alas those days are gone. Even this very nice wine at $35 is very hard to find in today's world.
