September 14, 2018 - Found this at Watson's in Lan Kwai Fong... new in. Nice work. Though I'd never heard of SO, I saw his other bottles were made of Hoffman (the man's a genius) grapes so I got very excited.

Sure enough this is a decent wine, but no where near the dizzying heights of my hopes. Sort of a cross between Barossa and a more purple Rhone, also a dollop of greenness as often found in whole bunch clusters with liberal does of stem thrown in.

A decent but forgettable wine for me.

12/11/18, 3:37 PM - I’ve only had their ‘15 and ‘16 single vineyard Syrahs (they only make 2 wines...the Little wine is a multi vintage blend and then their other single vintage Hoffman Dallwitz Syrah). The ‘15 I opened was on a table full of SQN bottles and showed really well, so if you enjoy those style of wines, seek it out.
