  September 22, 2018 - A bit disappointing given the reputation of the bodega and from previous vintages. I am beginning to think the 2005 vintage in Rioja was a tad overrated, certainly not as good as 2004 or 2001. There was a dull cherry cola edge to the fruit along with a little smokiness but it lacked the viscous, thick fluidity that I have found previously with Tondonia.
