  October 3, 2018 - This is an interesting shiraz. It’s strangely compelling, but not very typical. The fruits are very dark, with almost no sweetness, making this a very dry and savoury affair. The fruit have an almost vegetative character, but they are not stemmy or green. The wine is concentrated and smooth in the mouth, with the mid-palate carrying great weight with dried herbs and spices and carrying a gravelly character on the long finish. The tannins firm, with medium acidity. A very curious wine.
