  October 23, 2018 - The Scopone Brunello di Montalcino is a fantastic showing in this vintage. On the modern side, this begins with aromas of dark cherries and blackberries, which are woven together with spices, toast and hints of leather that all come together and burst from the glass. This rich, polished Brunello is ultra-velvety with ample tannins with excelled depth leading into the long, chewy finish. Overall, this is a flat-out delicious Brunello di Montalcino, which is already quite accessible.
