June 17, 2008 - Black ruby. Opulent nose of violets, cracked pepper, aged meat, boysenberry and powdered stone. Rich and full in the mouth with a silky mouthfeel and round tannins. This has fat, ripe fruit texture but remains fresh from bright acids. Not sure if this will improve much beyond this but showing this well, who cares. Try with simple grilled meats.
