  November 1, 2018 - This is a great wine that is both challenging with dark minerals and firm tannins and elegant with flowers and beautiful balsamic notes. The nose is dense with notes of oil pain, leather and dark fruit but also some floral notes appear after a while. The palate continues in the same style initially but then a beautiful acidity changes the character and despite the rather tannic structure we get a fresh energetic finish with some red fruit notes from wild strawberries.
  The wine improved significantly day two and if I had more bottles I would keep them.
