November 3, 2018 - Nose: Red and black fruit, pencil, spice and cigar notes. Bits of black truffle and malty roasted cherries. Palate: Very round in the mouth delivering a wide array of roasted cherry, sweet blueberry, cassis, tobacco, malt, toffee and coffee. Finish: Extremely complete and detailed never letting up. Beautiful smokey malty finish.

We had the unique opportunity to taste this from both 750 and Magnum. More dark fruit and ripe tannin in magnum and you had more time to see the exotic personalty develop. The 750 showed up right from the get go with a payload of plummy cigar, pencil, truffle, cedar and malt tones. Both gorgeous, but the completeness in bottle give it the nod (97+).
