  November 10, 2018 - 2018 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium – Kelly, RJ, Justin and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/7/2018-11/11/2018 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Youthful expressive nose displaying intense black fruit with a hint of red, blackberry, cherry, stewed tomato, roasted berries, grilled celeriac, strong stem, ash and scorched earth. Exceptional concentration, intense concentrated black fruit, rich, round and oily, bright acidity, strong mineral and a long intense black fruit driven finish with stem and grilled celeriac at the end. Not as expressive and enjoyable as the August bottle.
  Starts a bit tight but opens up nicely. It still needs another decade to two to reach the youthful peak. Similar to the 99 but more naturally more youthful.
