  June 22, 2008 - Dry cherries, blackberry on the nose. Tobacco and cassis on the finish, tannins have mellowed but are not completely soft. This wine is still drinking strong. I've tasted recent vintages and they do not have the balance and integration that this 2001 has .. too bad. This is the last of a case that I paid $20 bottle. Quite a find.
