November 23, 2018 - At this point the wine has been open for 24+/- hours. A light golden yellow in the glass, scents of chalk, lime, saline, and white flowers are the most prominent. The palate seems bone-dry as this leads with flavors of under-ripe passion fruit, kiwi, green apple, and lemon. This is a wine that’s all about structure and patience. While it’s enjoyable now, this will really need 5+ years or more to show the full range of depth and complexity. Patience will be rewarded. Excellent now with significant room for growth for those that are willing to wait.
