Community Tasting Note

November 27, 2018 - 2/3 of the reviews on this wine are by the same taster. That makes the average score quite questionable. What makes someone review the same wine 8 times, with basically the same notes and exactly the same 90 pt score each time? Does this have ant benefit? I certainly don't see any.

12/4/18, 10:32 AM - Did you drink the wine? If so, what did you think of it? If not, your comment does not belong here. The other 4 reviews offer scores within plus or minus one point of mine so, statistically, there are no significant differences. Unless any wine under 90 is untouchable for you. My wine was served at a celebratory occasion. I enter notes to preserve the memories.

12/4/18, 5:11 PM - Whoa Bacchus! Getting a bit personal , aren't you? Did I mention your name? Did I make a comment specifically to you, as you did to me? I made a general comment to the cellartracker community about ANYONE, not just you, who makes the average score on a wine all but useless. I think that is a valid point. Maybe you should take that into consideration. Perhaps cellartracker is not the ideal forum for posting "Memories" when most wine lovers are checking scores to decide whether to buy a wine or not.

12/5/18, 8:06 AM - The current average with all my notes is 89.9. If i were to post just be note, the average would be 89.8. I fail to see how my posting habits are making data less then useful for others. I also troll for scores when seeking out esceotional wines. I am still waiting to see whether you have tasted the wine yourself. If not, why are you posting a "tasting note"?
