  November 28, 2018 - Popped this last evening. Decanted for three hours before first sip, and it needed another 90 minutes before I had that "OK, here's the goods" moment.
  
  Very much a full bodied high octane wine, and I think it would benefit from a couple more years of beauty rest.
  Nicely balanced towards the end of the night, as the heat blew off a bit.
  
  After testing this out, I will be sure to let my Reserve bottlings rest for at least 3 years...
