  December 1, 2018 - Day 1, even after a long decant this was harsh, acidic, hot, some leather and spice but little fruit. Ok with food but hard to love.
  
  Day 2 things were much improved: smoother, more dark fruit to go with the leather and spice, better balance, felt like a lot of wine for the money.
  
  It’s a big, ripe wine and I’m not sure the alcohol will ever fully integrate with the other elements, but I am confident this wine will improve and become more harmonious over the next few years.
