December 3, 2018 - After a very good bottle had recently this one failed to impress. Cedar, mineral notes and ink in the nose. Medium bodied, cassis, leather and cask notes, but lacking power and complexity, drying out rapidly and with persisting acidity in the finish. I won't touch it for a while, but am not sure whether this will ever come back to its earlier day glory.

12/15/18, 9:49 AM - Hi chatter. Not sure which direction this wine is going. You may be right that this bottle was more advanced - but then there is little hope. I still havn‘t given up on this wine. Some 1996 took forever and eventually amply rewarded the wait. So I‘ll wait another 2/3 years now before opening the next.
