  December 8, 2018 - Beautiful. Just coming into its sweet spot — it has dramatically opened up vs 2 years ago. On nose and flavors, it’s as though pencil lead was freshly crushed with the richest blue fruits you could conjure. Big but also highly perfumed and elegant. Very long, but of course still with moderately strong tannins, now moving towards the plusher end of the tannin spectrum. If you love fairly primary left bank Bordeaux, this wine will put you in your happy place. Will be great for another 20 years, depending on at what stage you prefer your wines.
