December 13, 2018 - Decided to revisit because I’m thinking about buying more to lay down. Some improvement from a couple months ago - the fruit has opened-up/fanned-out some. Dark purple fruit - primarily blackberry and black currants with a little dark cherry and blueberry. Really smooth coupled with solid depth/concentration - medium plus body. Nice vibrant flavors of dark berries, some spice, and a little mineral/graphite component. Fairly long finish. Popped/poured but drank out of a decanter for a couple hours. Improved a little with time but drinking quite well right away despite its youth. Once again, a solid QPR in the mid-$60s in the secondary market but the winery direct price continues to increase and is now at $125. I’ve never seen such a price disparity with the secondary market and winery direct for a newly released wine. 100% cab.

12/13/18, 8:13 AM - michigan dogs, I hear you. I wonder if there are that many members who are that naïve. It is my understanding that the owners are from Detroit so maybe that's why the pricing in the area is so good - home discount. Plum Market and Woods Wholesale Wine both have good prices. Take care.
