  December 9, 2018 - PnP. Color is rich purple. Aromas a bit closed. On the palate rich purple berry tastes, some ferric notes. Letting air for about 45 minutes before a dinner of beef stew. Wine showing some legs and warmth. Still a bit light in body at 45 minutes, after about 75 minutes the body is filling in and the fruit is opening up nicely yielding a delightful dinner wine. Some licorice and perhaps some tobacco appearing in the finish. Perception of warmth lingering through and after dinner.
