  12/23/18, 10:33 AM - About 40 or so hours after the bottle was originally opened. Pretty nose with red fruits, almost like a candied cherry fruit mix.
  
  I just had a glass of a '98 Conterno CF, so a tough act to follow - that said, this is still pleasant enough, with good acidity providing some lift. If you have this in the cellar, think about trying one soon - I personally think this was more vibrant when it was younger, and despite the fact that this is primarily Nebbiolo, I don't view ArPePe's normale as a wine that's designed for long-term aging.
