  December 27, 2018 - Conflicted on this one: supposedly “unoaked”, but does not taste like it...there’s definitely wood on this. Large scaled, full bodied and highly extracted. For me, it was redeemed by the high acidity, giving it some crunch. A little out of balance, but not overly so. Not a wine I would personally buy or seek out (this was gifted to me), I find Kistler much more enjoyable if I’m seeking a big Cali Chardonnay.
