  December 29, 2018 - This is a really nice wine from the Dr. Crane Vineyard in St. Helena. Purple and red coloring with matching fruit of blackberry, raspberry with some cherry. Smooth and silky with nice acid and tannins that have already integrated. Finish is pretty solid; not super long but good. All in all, a fine bottle. It's missing some of the hallmark mineral/earthy notes from the vineyard and I wish that it had a stronger backbone. Drank over 2 nights with similar notes.
