  January 6, 2019 - This was the last bottle of this great vintage of Washington Cab Sauv in my cellar. The prior two I had opened had gone so past peak that they were raisin like in taste and brown in shade. This one held up and was, although past peak, still quite drinkable with a smoked grilled strip steak. The tannins had virtually disappeared and yet the result was still quite characteristic of a good Washington Cab. Except for the prior two bottles, this was a great vintage for the Columbia Crest label.
