January 16, 2019 - £7/glass at 67 Pall Mall, London. Paired by the somm with dukkah-crusted cod. 70% Semillon, Sauvignon gris and Muscadelle, in 25% new oak barrels for 6 to 8 months. I really enjoyed this. Tropical fruit (lychee, pineapple), long grass in the gentle summer breeze, honeysuckle, jasmine. A real fullness and viscosity on the palate, but clean and slightly clenching on the finish like the skin of a yellow plum.

4/1/20, 3:57 AM - Curiously, the bottle of 2015 which I have in my hand says 50% semillon, 25% sauvignon gris, 25% sauvignon blanc.

4/1/20, 4:17 AM - Thanks. I took the detail from 67 Pall Mall's wine list/database so I assume the bottle is more accurate!

4/1/20, 4:36 AM - It seems that the blend does vary a bit from vintage to vintage, generally being at least 50% semillon. (The current release on the Producer's website, which I guess is 2018, shows 60% semillon, 25% sauvignon gris, 15% sauvignon blanc, for example). Maybe they just forgot to recheck the blend when changing vintages.
