  January 26, 2019 - Opened and let sit for an hour before dinner. Medium dark red. Classic Sangiovese nose. On the palate this cuts a broad swathe of black fruits, blood red meat, spice, and lovely acidity. This is much better than the last bottle from 5 years ago. I would say this is as enjoyable as it will be for the lovely fruit/tannin balance; may soften and develop more complexity for the next decade, though. Last bottle
