January 29, 2019 - Stood up for 5-6 hours as I was afraid of a decant which was the right call. A bit of funk blew off and revealed a intense nose of mushroom, leather, and nutmeg. Still full of red fruit, smoky meat, and tanning oil. After 2 hours it started to fall off so I would not recommend opening early or decanting. Wonderful wine, drink up.
