  February 2, 2019 - I am biased with this wine, as I am a bit of a Xavier fan, so I anticipated likening this wine, and have enjoyed it in the past. The wine is clear, ruby to garnet in hue. Immediate septs of red licorice, anise, even some menthol - all of which lays over the top of red fruit. The wine is dry and very tannic. Thin on the attack, the wine finishes for some time - I am finding late raspberry and it lingers. Perhaps decanting or more time in the Eurocave, but certainly not upsetting as is...
