  February 3, 2019 - This has to be about as good as it gets for Lytton Springs. This vintage is easily the best I've tasted in my 30 years of being into wine.
  
  There was a good amount of sediment left in the bottle upon decanting. Initially the nose was rather closed, but about 90 minutes in, it was showing gorgeous, complex aromatics. It isn't a crime to drink now, but it still has a fair amount of baby fat and I suspect will show even better in 2-5 years. I will probably pop our last bottle during the holiday season in 2020.
