Mootsie Does not like this wine: 80 points
February 3, 2019 - Very ripe fruit with a pepper finish. Syrupy. Will appeal to the Apothic Red crowd. Just too sweet for me. Not worth buying again.

2/5/19, 9:20 AM - When I was writing up my original note on this zin, I really wanted to add something about there being perhaps some smoke and mirrors going on (which of course is the case with so many cheap domestic wines), but I didn't know how to say it in a nice way. 2/5/19, 9:36 AM - Thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye out for it. I do love Spanish wines as well as the Rhone. For some reason, our local Costco doesn't always get the cool stuff, but maybe I'll luck out with this one. Cheers!
