  January 13, 2019 - Tasted blind and needed some more air. Deep ruby red in appearance. A bit mute on the nose with some savory characteristics, gravel and touch of dark black fruits. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) with balanced acidity and full body. Overtone of minerality on the palate with layers of vanilla, cinnamon and dark cocoa. A bit of muted fruit too. Long and lingering finish. Definitely needs some time to open up and would love to see this after a few years in the bottle. Drink till 2030. (91+)
