The palate displays quintessential Spottswoode character that made this wine earn the reputation of being the Château Margaux of Napa Valley - the earthiness, bright acidity (that is reminiscent of the 2006) balanced by its fruitiness. Flavors of dark cherry, pomegranate, tobacco, dark chocolate. Finishes long on silky tannins. Par excellence. Drink from 2024 to 2039. 97+
