  February 7, 2019 - At first it is almost bubbly with suppressed CO2, tight as a nut. Lean, austere, not pleasant at all. Then some reductive notes appear. A little more aromatics but not so very pleasant either.. Day 2 the reduction has faded, the CO2 evaporated and the wine has taken on a really gorgeous lean, savory feel. Great Syrah. Feels like a really good Arnot Roberts, but perhaps with slightly more fruit. Nice find!
