  July 13, 2008 - Inky black purple. Black olive, current, violet, sage and a hint of game on the nose. Medium full bodied. Rich cocoa and blackberry fruit in the mouth with an admirable sense of restraint. Very youthful and fresh, like a barrel sample. This has nicely integrated tannins and acids but falls a bit short on the finish. Excellent value here as usual. Should be nice in 3-5 years and hold for a few more.
