February 18, 2019 - Oh Gawd this is sweet. Reminds me of the Hestan Meyer '15 Cab. Ok, this one has a bit more depth than the Meyer but still... I have one left, also have one bottle of Wight vineyard '15. A very benevolent 90 points.

2/19/19, 4:16 AM - Apparently I enjoyed this vintage a little more but the sweet/plum profile just isn’t my thing either - somewhat similar to the last three vintages. A shame because I thought the 2009 & 2010 vintages were some of the best cabs that I’ve had for the money at $45. Still at around $45 in the secondary market I wasnt moved to buy more of this vintage. Hopefully the profile of the 2016 vintage is closer to the 2009 and 2010 vintages.

2/19/19, 6:44 AM - I really wanted to score this wine higher, but it was at times like corn syrup as opposed to vanilla oak which I can tolerate more. I recently opened a Jean Edwards Cab '13 that was much more interesting, I don't think you've had any exposure to this label. but would be interested in your review if you did.

2/19/19, 8:55 AM - I actually had a local store recently recommend the 2015 Jean Edwards Stagecoach cab, however, its blended with petit verdot which I’m not a big fan of usually. I’ll have to checkout the blend of the 2013 vintage. Thanks.

2/19/19, 9:31 AM - I tend to prefer 100% Cab too....with some exceptions of course. The '15 Jean Edwards I might have to check out. Also consider Cliff Lede Stags Leap Cabs...I love em.
