  March 1, 2019 - A two-hour decant wasn't enough. The wine felt a bit heavy, slightly alcoholic and metallic. After four hours, these "negatives" fell away and the wine began to drink beautifully paired with a New York strip. Tempier really is the "First Growth" of Bandol/Provence. The 97 has a long way to go as does the 98. Bravo to Daniel Ravier and Company.
