March 4, 2019 - Expected more richness, but ended up more grassy. To be fair, I don’t know much about Australian marsannes so I don’t know if I had this too early or late.

3/5/19, 1:56 AM - Grassy definitely indicates too early. This was my first Marsanne and I'm still not sure what I thought about it. It was OK but I prefer Hunter Semillons.

3/5/19, 4:03 PM - Still too early. Needs 5 or 10 more years.

3/6/19, 4:22 PM - Sorry, to clarify, I can’t find any more of the Tahbilks in my area, is there another producer you would recommend I pick up and lay down for a decade or so?

3/6/19, 6:08 PM - Not really. Hunter Valley Semillon is a good substitute. McWilliam's Elizabeth, for example.
