March 8, 2019 - Hearts Delight 2016 Bordeaux Tasting (Hay Adams - Washington, DC): A beautiful young wine. Earthy, spicy, elegant, floral yet deep nose. A vibrant core of fruit, a dustier/taut frame that signifies serious aging potential. Dark but bright fruit with pepper, anise, leather and graphite. I'd love to see what this does in 15 years. I've always loved this estate, but this vintage really popped and stood out among the crowd.
