  June 24, 2007 - Deep garnet core, full to the rim. Deliciously savoury nose of cedar, cassis and oak. Not so good on the palate - spicy and smoky but hollow in the mid-palate. Pleasant acidity and tannin, but lacking fruit. The wine came into its own with roast lamb, however, and the classy structure makes an excellent accompaniment to the meat.
