March 14, 2019 - very Bordeaux-like, with wonderful nose of minerals, earthy, tobacco; finish is a bit bitter on this one compared to the 1992 and 1994; 1992 is a bit smoother but thinner, but 1993 is thicker with more complexity; 92 and 93 are both excellent, but the 1994 wins... all 3 vintages are a great example of how good wines can age far longer than most of us think... this one has plenty of life left
