  July 20, 2008 - I thought that this was a fantastic expression of erbaluce. I am a big fan of orsolani and all that they do for this little known grape. It was a much better sparkling wine to end the night on, as it was a little bit sweeter than most other italian sparkling like prosecco. Had a great yeasty nose with hints of citrus and melon. Fantastic pearlage, which was astonishing to me and not expected. On the palate it was light, crisp, and refreshing (like prosecco) but that slight residual sugar and the melon characteristic really showed and gave it much better depth. Very enjoyable.
