  March 22, 2019 - Tonight just perfect, aromatic, smooth Northern Rhone Syrah. I knew that I was onto a winner when I saw the deposit that the wine has thrown. So long on the palate, at the moment 2 minutes and counting. This is the time to drink the wine, I have left other wines to "get better" and seen them fall off the cliff. Great winemakers sprinkle their fairydust over some vintages and send them into the stratosphere. Chave, Graillot, Beaucastel (+Coudoulet), Roc de Cambes and Jaboulet have done it for me. Now I can add Rostaing to this list. This bottle cost £22 or $29 and it is/was totally off the wall!! My advice, if you can find it - buy it, you will not be sorry!!
