April 3, 2019 - Prior bottle was nearly 15 months ago and this wine remains in a very good spot. Served at cellar temperature this time around which made a noticeable difference in profile. Mango, orange, pineapple and honey on the nose. Nearly full bodied with varied tropical fruit but especially mango and pineapple along with peach and honey. Mid-body shows wonderful density and the backside shows just enough tart notes and spice qualities to provide some balance. Served on the colder side (below 52F) brings out the citrus and spice notes and fully warm brings out the honey, so this was a very good middle ground. Based on this showing, my try my next bottle as soon as June/July 2019 not because it's fading, but because it's showing so well at this stage, I don't want to miss the window.
