April 7, 2019 - Curiosity got the best of me. Slightly subdued nose displaying ripe black and red fruit, sieved blackberry, black cherry, milk chocolate, lavender and crushed rocks. Absolutely sensual palate that VCC is known for, very finely layered black fruit, fluid and almost weightless, medium acidity, strong limestone mineral, very fine tannins and a medium to long ripe black fruit driven finish. The fruit is slightly subdued at this stage. This has a great future ahead but really need to wait for a few more years to be enjoyable, i.e. gain fruit density and regain opulence.

4/21/19, 5:55 PM - It is really hard to say as this was slightly shutdown. Having said that, I slightly prefer the 09 and the 10.
