  April 13, 2019 - This was exactly what I expected from Vacqueyras. A brilliant ruby in the glass with scents of violets, red fruits, and granite. The palate leads with tobacco, spice, clove, and raspberry framed by medium tannin and medium acidity. Almost elegant yet still with a robust fruit profile. Excellent! This should be enjoyable now with a 30 minute decant and I expect this will show well for 10 - 15+ years with good storage.
