  April 18, 2019 - Tons of fruit on the nose, cherry, blueberry, and a bit of cola - classic Russian River Valley. Decanted for about 60-75 minutes in advance (don't know if it needed it, but it didn't hurt). Effusive fruit at first taste; tannins a bit on the high end for pinot but they're well-integrated. Finish is terrific, I could drink 2 bottles. Easy enough to sip, but enough oomph to stand up to food - went beautifully with a mushroom omelet and side salad.
