    April 18, 2019 - I was not expecting the spiced and unbalanced wine I found here. The aromas are certainly telling as I found a spice laden fruit overwhelming any subtle fruit. The in mouth experience is more harsh with tannin and spices dominating the fruit. The viscosity is dense and rich but so acidity laden that it rises to the level of being unpleasant.

    4/19/19, 5:47 AM - I'm finding a lot of similar characteristics in many of the '15 Turleys. The Pesenti started out like this the other night but after 1-2 hours in the glass it changed dramatically for the better.

    4/19/19, 7:34 PM - Yes Tom, it's Mark! Glad this worked for you! These '15 Turleys seem to be a little weird and some of them do need time. Most people just pnp I think and this one would definitely be a bad example if you did that. I don't know if they picked too early or just used younger fruit but the '15s are def different.
