April 25, 2019 - We really enjoyed this. Definitely a step down from big brother Cervaro, but the pedigree still shows. Clean and refreshing, with pretty citrus, pear and apple aromas and flavors. Hardly any oak is noticeable, giving this a Burgundian feel. Balanced and harmonious, finishing with subtle hints of chalk and mineral. Could easily pass for a very good Macon-Villages. Understated, yet satisfying and delicious. Paired very nicely with the cheese platter we shared.
