  April 27, 2019 - Nose with blackberry and a little bit of vanilla. Gives the impression of a "warm" wine with higher alcohol content (bottle says 13.5 % but it feels more)
  On the palate slightly unbalanced with higher than ideal acidity and gritty tannins. The alcohol makes the taste and finish slightly bitter.
  Not the best Clarke, for sure, but it was a difficult vintage. I have half a case left and will be drinking them soon so I can move on to another vintage of this wine which represents incredible value for money in most years.
