  October 27, 2018 - Oak, oak, and more oak. Especially on the palate. As it was really not what we expected from this producer, we opened a second bottle right away, and it was pretty much the same. Disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, I love a gentle touch of luxurious oak when is well managed, but here it’s rough and without class. I hope this will improve down the line, but I’m not too convinced, as the fruit was completely overshadowed by the oak. And it’s a real pity, because I love other vintages of this producer!
  
  I’m not giving a score because it’d be too low and considering the other tasters notes maybe we were truly unlucky with our bottles.
