May 3, 2019 - Was not sure about this purchase, but at a reasonable price, hey, who could pass up not wanting to try an 18yr old St Emilion. Now we are talking. Good aroma, fadding color, wonderful aged fruit flavors and earthiness with some complexity. A little thin with short finish, but still, such a pleasure to drink.

8/4/19, 7:35 AM - Hey NWFU, thanks for always posting on these obscure little finds assumedly from Wine Xchange...Great store, and good guys. I love finding these gems in their store at these cute prices. I have not tried this one, but I bought several aged gems from them and on several of them, I was lucky enough to go back and load up before they were gone....If you ever find something awesome, please alert, we seem to have a liking for the same things :-) Cheers to you and a happy Sunday

8/11/19, 8:50 AM - Thank you NW4U! I just tapped the Villemaurine last night and thought it was simple and bit hollow. Did not have the secondary development that I was hoping for...The left bank wines of 2001 are full of aged little gems, but not sure about the RB wines and this one left me hanging. Im going to pop the cork and see if missed something last night...

8/13/19, 9:22 PM - I think I have a wine you should try....Its the 2016 Saint Pierre de Corbian from St. Estephe. I just bought a couple to test. But if its anything like the 2014, my oh my, its a bargain! Check it out!
