May 1, 2019 - Opened a bottle at dinner: this is a smooth monster - great nose, back end is tobacco and leather. Very dark red fruit on the nose, and on the palate that moves with a touch of darkness, effortlessly. This is smooth and powerful and an excellent wine. Could age, but why bother, it's just delightful now.

7/2/19, 5:10 PM - Both you and BadMonkey enjoy similar wine. BadMonkey is amazing. I decided to purchase six bottles of this wine based on both of you, and JD, Vinous and the Wine Advocate. Thus far, many of the 2016's have been outstanding. Thanks.
